As every Christian knows, Jesus came to offer us eternal life (John 3:16). But later in John’s Gospel we learn that Jesus also promised his disciples an abundant life as well. When we discover this abundant life in Jesus Christ, we are transformed in profound and lasting ways:- Our priorities are significantly re-ordered
- Our goals are completely revised
- Our lives are totally reshaped
All of us want to experience meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in our lives. But even though we often enjoy an abundance of "things" and "possessions," the abundant "life" nevertheless still eludes us.
A truly abundant and joyous life, however, is only possible through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ which is shared with other Christians. This is where true joy and fulfillment are to be found.
