 Serving in Faith

Using Jesus’ promise of John 10:10: “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” as our central theme, All Saints Lutheran Church is developing a number of resources to encourage and help people discover the abundant life in Jesus Christ.

Already in place:
  • The LifeLine – the monthly church newsletter contains both informational and inspirational articles.
  • LifeWalk – based on the Sunday scripture lessons, this is a weekly guide for personal reflection or group discussion to assist individuals on their daily walk of faith. It is included as a handout in the Sunday worship bulletin.
Coming soon:
  • LifePassages – services recognizing and building upon some of the major stages and moments in life.
  • LifeEmail – daily thoughts and reflections e-mailed to your home or work computer.
  • LifeTeams – small groups organized around four purposes:
    1. LOVING: mutual care and support by and for the members of the team
    2. LEARNING: team bible study or reflection
    3. DOING: team involvement in some form of mission or ministry
    4. DECIDING: team planning and organizing.
  • LifeKeys* – a program to help individuals discover how God has gifted them and where they are best equipped to serve. (* Uses the book LifeKeys: Discovering Who You Are, Why You’re Here, and What You Do Best by Jane A.G. Kise, David Stark, and Sandra Krebs Hirsh.)
